We celebrated the Bestie’s birthday humbly and in great company over the weekend. A Thai dinner at Thai Treats (Halal!) on Saturday followed by coffee and desserts at Brunetti’s, then on to the Hollywood Costume exhibition at the Australian Centre for the Moving Image (ACMI) on Sunday morning.
All in all, we had a very laid back weekend and a much deserved break after assessments at University and a somewhat recharging of batteries before his end of semester exams and me, starting a new lot of experiments.
In other news, I met up with a couple of friends from high school for coffee at Manchester Press. Give and take, I’ll say maybe thirteen years or so ago was the last time we were all in the one place together. Funny how despite so many years passed, a myriad of life experiences and paths travelled, we all laugh and reminisce of those days of teenage naivety.
Melbournians, make sure you check out the Hollywood Costume exhibition! More details here.
Happy Humpday Friends!
