I promptly went about the CBD looking for a leather eraser this afternoon but to no avail. Patience unfortunately isn't one of my greater virtues and I resorted to using a regular eraser. It worked surprisingly well as pictured below. The stain isn't completely gone but I can live with it. It's a huge difference from what it looked like before. With all leathers, its best to try in an inconspicuous area first (I didn't do this either).
Big thanks to Mycatssaymeow for suggesting a leather eraser. Haha so I used a regular eraser instead, but thanks for the hint nonetheless!
Whilst on my hunt I got hungry and got a Soldier roll at Roll'd, QV.

I also looked around Big W for the leather eraser and spotted these cute onesies.
Then headed over to Flower Temple for a little solace. The buds of these flowers look square and open up to little cute flowers.
I settled with an all time favourite, orchids and white freesias.

I'm so glad it worked! Who knows, maybe a leather eraser is just a regular eraser after all? (I've actually got one just in case because one of our lounges is off white leather, but have not had to use it yet - touch wood).

DeleteOh I hope you won't ever have to use it on your couch. My once upon a time white leather couch looks very weathered but i've had it for some time. I usually use a leather conditioner when I can be bothered and give it a wipe down ever so often with that.
I'm so glad to hear that you were able to fix your bag, it is the worst when things like that happen! Otherwise I would've suggested dying it black x

ReplyDeleteAs good as bag spa on Collins St is, I was dreading the thought of having to resort to them. Their services are great but costly. The eraser trick is brilliant! I love the soft shell crab soldier w/ chilli mayo from Roll'd.
