Chinese New Year

Happy New Year Friends!
I hope this year, the year of the snake is a prosperous one for you all.

Despite being such a short trip, I am so grateful I got to spend my Chinese New Year with my loved ones and managed to catch up with family from both sides (Mum is Chinese and Dad of Malay heritage) and friends.

My weekend in photos...
We love Yee Sang, mum especially.  We had this on my first night back and a whole lot of other grub.  I was much too hungry fresh off the plane and didn't take photos...what's new hah.

A and D enjoying the New Year deco around a mall near home

I asked them to do a Chinese New Year pose and this what they thought of haha!

Yee Sang with the cousins for Sa Chap Mei or Eve of Chinese New Year

Angpau (red packet) time!  Baby M's the youngest great grand-daughter, but not for long.

New years present from my aunt and family - pretty flowers and oranges

What I wore for the first day of Chinese New Year

Dress:  Lover  |  Pants:  Zara Girls  |  Hijab:  Such by Suci Utami  |  Heels:  Miu Miu

Haha if you look hard enough you can see the reflection of my little cousin taking my #OOTD photo.

At my Chek-Kongs' (Grand Uncle) open house.  Haha somehow I ended up serving food but it's all good, gave my little cousins and uncle a time out before more guests rolled in.

Looking somewhere but the camera!

Made our way to my Uncles in Kuala Belait (an hour or so drive away) and made it in time for the annual Chinese New Year Lion dance.

Tired babies and me

Have a wonderful new year all!
