We spent our Sunday catching up over scrumptious Italian at Carlton Espresso. It was a beautiful day and even more so having spent it in beautiful company. There was no shortage of mouth watering foods but we did miss some lovely friends who weren't able to join us - next time!
Ordering was a dilemma. Neither one of us could settle on a particular dish and resorted in ordering almost every seafood/vegetarian pasta option on the menu!
A long overdue meet for these three ladies
Rotolo 'mozzarella roll' w/ smoked salmon, rocket, mascarpone, green cerignola olives + salina capers
Farro Salad w/ Rocket, vegetable spelt, ricotta + tuna
Pasta of the Day - Gnocchi pomodoro w/ prawns
Pappardelle w/ porcini mushroom & truffle oil in bianco (Tuscany)
Black Fettuccine w/ calamari
