Around the November and December period, my friends and I had a lot of reunion outings with our old university friends and fellow countrymen.
We all agreed it was the one year mark for anyone who's left Melbourne to come back after a year of absence for a quick holiday.
It wasn't just one or two people, we're talking close to 15 of them maybe?! Not all from the same group of friends of course.
I didn't manage to meet most of them and take photos, but I met up with D, whom I met in class in my third year of uni.
Went for breakfast at Green Refectory in Brunswick. He was hungover, so he needed food badly! The first photo is his big breakfast, and I settled for poached eggs on sourdough with caramelised onions and mushrooms.
Met up with another "F" at Three Bags Full. I had an awesome day! We can always pick up where we left off after months of not seeing each other. I haven't had a proper full day catch up session in awhile without feeling the need to figure out what to do next.
The cheesecake in the second photo was from Vegie Bar. By far the best cake I've ever tasted! F mentioned its so good because they use condensed milk. Can anyone verify this??

Can't verify for how vegie bar makes their cheesecake but I have a recipe for lemon cheesecake (no bake) with condensed milk instead of gelatine. YUMMYYY
